Info:
Apes In Space is a indica-dominant hybrid strain made up of 70% indica genetics and 30% sativa genetics. This is an exotic strain bred by Exotic Genetix. This comes from crossing the Flacon 9 strain with Grease Monkey. The name of this strain comes from that of its parents as the Falcon 9 is a space rocket.
This strain is a good combination of indica and sativa for the buzz as you will feel relaxed, while at the same time being uplifted, and having a burst of energy and creativity. Use this strain in excess to bring out the true Indica effects possibly leaving you feel more couch-locked then relaxed. Patients are using this product for stress, depression, pain and appetite issues.
THC levels on this strain are average ranging between 18% and 24% THC. Making this a great product for your average or every day consumer. This strain is a great balance of a Hybrid buzz when used in moderation, but when used in excess you can expect strong relaxation, leading to couch-lock.
The flowers of this strain have quite the look and can be explained as “out of this world” as buds typically show very little green as it has been replaced with many different hues of purple, entangled with deep orange pistils, and a fine dusting of trichomes. The buds tend to be medium to large in size, which are of mild density.
Lab Data:
Sample submitted: “Apes in Space” dried cannabis flowers.
Visual Inspection: Free from visible contamination and foreign matter.
Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.
Absent Cannabinoids: if a cannabinoid or terpene is blank, it is not necessarily absent but below the limit of detection by the detector (usually less than 0.01%).
•when reporting totals, acidic cannabinoids are multiplied by 0.877 to account for loss of mass from decarboxylation upon heating (activating)
