LAB DATA

Sample submitted: “Ambrosia” dried cannabis flowers.
Visual Inspection: Free from visible contamination and foreign matter.

Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.

Absent Cannabinoids: if a cannabinoid or terpene is blank, it is not necessarily absent but below the limit of detection by the detector (usually less than 0.01%).

Ambrosia hybrid cannabis is an equitable strain of cannabis comprising of half sativa and half indica, and named after the food of the gods in Greek Mythology. The word Ambrosia is used to describe something that smells and tastes very delicious. The thc levels of this strain are within a moderate range, falling between 13 to 16 percent on average, practically hitting the dot for the average THC levels in all sativa strains. Ambrosia cannabis is known to have a semi pungent skunky aroma and produces a moderately dense smoke that is sweet and fruity. Flavors of sweet tropical citrus and berry mixed with notes of pine and lavender make this strain an attractive option. This strain is often recommended to novice users due to the mild to moderate high that it produces without being too over powering and non paranoia inducing.

The Ambrosia strain is created by breeding the God bud and Burmese Sativa mother together, making it a hybrid strain. The God Bud and Burmese Sativa are derived from the Mighty Seed Company. Ambrosia hybrid strain is most commonly used in the morning or throughout the daytime hours. The reason for this is because it produces a high that is described as uplifting, mood boosting, and focus inducing. Users do not report a significant drowsy effect, making it not exactly ideal for help with sleep and insomnia. These properties of the Ambrosia hybrid give insight to why it is typically used by people who suffer from depression, ADD/ADHD, migraines, tension headaches, and anxiety disorders. Users report that Ambrosia is also especially good at soothing feelings of nausea, inducing appetite or causing the munchies, and relieving pain and stress.

Ambrosia hybrid is a strain that can be grown both inside and outside provided the climate is ideal. When grown inside, Ambrosia hybrid cannabis is expected to take anywhere from 49 days to 56 days before it is ready to be harvested. When grown outdoors, Ambrosia is expected to be good for harvest around the middle of September and typically will grow on average up to anywhere between 48 inches and 60 inches. Ambrosia’s average yield per plant is expected to span from an average of 4 ounces to 6 ounces.

Ambrosia is easily identified by its appearance because of its radiating neon green color and subtle color tones of darker forest green. The buds are generously shaped like spades, and are of moderate size compared with the bud sizes of other Sativa strains. Ambrosia is covered in a thick layer of sprinkled hairs that have a deep gold color, and its typically said to be of one of the more leafy strains of cannabis.
