Banana Frosting is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the classic Silver Haze X Diesel X Skunk X Hindu Kush strains. A super mouthwatering bud with a surprisingly backwards name, Banana Frosting is one interesting indica you’ll want to try again and again. While its name may suggest what it takes like, it’s wrong. Banana Frosting actually has a sour and citrusy lemon flavor with hints of spicy diesel rather than of banana flavored frosting. The aroma is very similar, although quite a bit spicier, with an earthy diesel overtone and hints of sour, citrusy lemon galore. The Banana Frosting high will hit you pretty quickly, dropping you off into a super relaxed and cheerful state that has you grinning. You’ll feel happy and giddy, easily falling in and out of fits of the giggles for no reason whatsoever. This is also accompanied by a boost in sociability that is perfect for when you’re feeling a bit nervous about joining in a social situation. In combination with its high 25% + average THC level, these effects make Banana Frosting a great choice for treating chronic pain, depression, chronic stress or anxiety and insomnia. This bud has fluffy and oversized spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with about 30% purple overtones, with thin, yellow-orange hairs and a coating of tiny, yellowish-white crystal trichomes which make the buds almost as much white as they are green. Truly gorgeous!
Lab Data: ‘Pending’
Sample submitted: ‘Banana Frosting’ dried cannabis flowers.
Visual Inspection: Free from visible contamination and foreign matter.
Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.
Absent Cannabinoids: if a cannabinoid or terpene is blank, it is not necessarily absent but below the limit of detection by the detector (usually less than 0.01%).
•when reporting totals, acidic cannabinoids are multiplied by 0.877 to account for loss of mass from decarboxylation upon heating (activating)
