Info: Island Sweet Skunk ( AKA Sweet Island Skunk ) testing out at 13.79% THC is a Sativa dominant strain which is made up for 80% Sativa genetics and 20% Indica genetics. This strain was created by crossing the Sweet Pink Grapefruit with the original Skunk #1.
Using this strain will generate feelings of euphoria, along with uplifting energetic effects. You will not feel lazy using this product, as it’s going to keep you moving through out your day. Many people are using this product for anxiety, mild depression, stress, and appetite issues in some. This may also be effective in reducing inflammation and pain.
THC levels on this strain are typically mild as it usually ranges under 20% THC, making this a good entry level strain. As with many Sativa strains we advise using this with caution to start, as the euphoric effects can change to paranoia and increased anxiety if used in excess.
Buds on this strain are a bit fluffy, with a lengthy structure which is bulbus in shape. The appearance of this strain is a dark green, sugar coated bud, which has little amounts of orange hairs. When smoking this product, you can expect a sweet and subtle grapefruit flavor, ending with a skunky pungent flavor on the pallet.
Lab Data:
Sample submitted: “Island Sweet Skunk” dried cannabis flowers.
Visual Inspection: Free from visible contamination and foreign matter.
Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.
Absent Cannabinoids: if a cannabinoid or terpene is blank, it is not necessarily absent but below the limit of detection by the detector (usually less than 0.01%).
•when reporting totals, acidic cannabinoids are multiplied by 0.877 to account for loss of mass from decarboxylation upon heating (activating)
