Ruby Haze is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the potent Cherry Punch #4 X Black Cherry Punch #2 strains. Named for its gorgeously red appearance and flavor alongside its heady, hazy high, Ruby Haze is a great balanced strain to help you really kick back and enjoy the world without any worries at all. This bud has eye-catchingly bright, long and fluffy pepper-shaped minty green nugs with dark leaves, lots of thin, dark reddish-orange hairs and a frosty coating of glittering, tiny minty white crystal trichomes. As you break apart each frosty little nugget, you’ll release aromas of sweet fruity cherries into the stratosphere, accented by hints of skunky haze and freshly picked citrus blossoms. The flavor follows the same profile with an even sweeter twist, blending spicy black cherries with bright lemon and flowery haze. The Ruby Haze high will start bright before taking a heady turn. You’ll feel an influx of happy energy hit your mind a few minutes following your final toke, lifting your mood and infusing you with a sense of creative purpose. As the high expands, this bright energy will soon take a nosedive, dropping you into a super relaxing plane of existence. Given these effects and its insanely high 26-32% average THC level, Ruby Haze is often suggested to treat chronic fatigue, depression or mood swings, chronic pain, nausea and chronic stress or anxiety.

Lab Data:

Sample submitted: ‘Ruby Haze’ dried cannabis flowers.
Visual Inspection: Free from visible contamination and foreign matter.

Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.

Absent Cannabinoids: if a cannabinoid or terpene is blank, it is not necessarily absent but below the limit of detection by the detector (usually less than 0.01%).

•when reporting totals, acidic cannabinoids are multiplied by 0.877 to account for loss of mass from decarboxylation upon heating (activating)
